Marjan Nehouray is passionate about the FOR-US mission because she has spent most of her life caring for her older sister who was severely vaccine injured at a young age. As a vaccine injured adult, unable to care for herself, Marjan set out to find housing and care for her sister, leading her to discover the ETTA organization, which helps place adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in to group homes. Marjan has spent 15 years volunteering and fundraising for Friends of ETTA. Religious freedom is important to Marjan because at a young age she had to flee her home country of Iran due to fear of religious persecution.
